Brown rosin paper is a traditional temporary protection and moisture barrier paper used mostly in flooring and roofing applications. Many users prefer the brown rosin to the red as the red rosin can sometimes stain if it gets too wet and is not removed quickly enough. Brown rosin is also a little more cost effective than the red rosin. Red rosin paper is breathable and safe to use on floors as they are curing. All our brown rosin paper is 100% recycled and is FSC certified for sustainability.

This breathable board also allows you to protect your floors while they are curing without any side effects. Our board will also roll out and lay flat every time giving you a perfectly flat protected surface. Papertec’s 3 ply reinforced kraft paper provides the strength, durability and flexibility that cannot be matched by standard floor protection papers. Reinforced kraft is made with two plies of natural kraft paper and heavy-duty diamond pattern PET scrim that prevents the paper from tearing. The unique attribute of reinforced kraft paper is that it can absorb moisture without allowing it to bleed through to the other side. The strong PET scrim prevents the paper from tearing when it is wet. This paper will prevent a paint, adhesive, solvents, and water from bleeding through it. Because reinforced kraft is so much more durable than tradition rosin or builders’ paper, it is reusable and makes your job more efficient by not having to replace it as frequently as traditional floor protection grades. This paper is non staining and protects ALL types of floor surfaces. Standard sizes are listed below, but we can also custom make rolls to whatever size you need.
